Continuing Education Credits
for the DNMS Home Study Course

We will apply for CEs for the whole Home Study Course, as soon as all 7 Modules are finished - projected to be in September 2008. If/when our application is approved for your license (e.g. SW, LMFT, LPC), you will be eligible for CEs after you have purchased all 7 modules and taken a test verifying course completion.

Meanwhile, if you are a Master’s level therapist, you can apply for self-study continuing education credits with R. Cassidy Seminars (RCS). Click here to get to their web site. RCS charges $10/unit for 1-6 CEUs, $9/unit for 7-12 CEUs, $8/unit for 13-18 CEUs, and $7/unit for 19-36 CEUs. Once you have decided how many CEUs you want to apply for, make the following entries on the RCS web site:

Module 1:
To get 1.5 CEUs, indicate 60 minutes of audio/video.
To get 3.0 CEUs, indicate 60 minutes of audio/video and 33 book pages.
Module 2:
To get 1.5 CEUs, indicate 75 minutes of audio/video.
To get 3.5 CEUs, indicate 75 minutes of audio/video and 53 book pages of reading.
To get 7.0 CEUs, indicate 47 journal article pages (Gallese, Eagle, and Migone, 2007).
To get 10.5 CEUs, indicate 75 minutes of audio/video, 53 book pages, and 47 journal pages.
Module 3:
To get 2.0 CEUs, indicate 93 minutes of audio/video.
To get 3.5 CEUs, indicate 75 minutes of audio/video and 53 book pages of reading.
To get 4.0 CEUs, indicate 93 minutes of audio/video and 38 pages of book reading.
Module 4:
To get 2.5 CEUs, indicate 131 minutes of audio/video.
To get 4.0 CEUs, indicate 131 minutes of audio/video and 42 pages of book reading.
Module 5:
To get 3.0 CEUs, indicate 145 minutes of audio/video.
To get 4.0 CEUs, indicate 145 minutes of audio/video and 29 book pages of reading.
Module 6:
To get 3.0 CEUs, indicate 150 minutes of audio/video.
To get 4.0 CEUs, indicate 150 minutes of audio/video and 44 book pages of reading.

After you have applied and paid for CEUs, RCS will approve your self-study course. You will need to complete their post test. The test involves typing a 2-6 sentence paragraph for each of the following:
  • Briefly explain why you chose this material and what your learning objectives were.
  • How does this material contribute to the field of Psychology?
  • Summarize four or more ideas that interested or impacted you the most.
  • Describe how learning this material enhanced your effectiveness in your current professional capacity and the population(s) with whom you work.
