Building Your Web Page
Once you have completed the DNMS Home Study Course we will build you a simple web page, if you want one. Your address will be www.dnmsinstitute.com/yourname.html. Look at the color samples below and pick a color you'd like for your background, then draft the text of your web page. You can list your experience with the DNMS and with other therapy models (e.g. Imago, EMDR, DBT). You can specify the population you work with (e.g. adults, children, couples). You can list your fees, and what insurance panels you're on. You can include a link to a map or intake form. You can post a photo of yourself and/or your office. You can list your office address, phone number, and/or web address. How much or how little you include is up to you. Just keep in mind that it will all go on a single page. Send an e-mail to sjs@shirleyjeanschmidt.com with a preferred backgound color, the web page text, and any photos or documents you'd like on the page, and we'll do the rest.
Initially there will be no cost for creating and maintaining your web page, and we will not charge for this in the future unless and until it becomes a time-consuming endeavor. If we eventually decide to charge something to maintain these web pages, you'll have the option to drop your page.
One alternative to our free web page is to develop your own web site. If you now have or later develop a web site, we will gladly provide a link from your "Find a DNMS Therapist" listing, to your web site.
To get your free listing, take the DNMS Home Study Course, then take the test that signifies you've completed the course.
